I have had some serious problems with keeping power supplies in my computer, if I disappear for an extended period of time that would be why. I have replaced the power supply on my computer 4 times now, this is getting ridiculous I am really tired of being gone. Hope this one works for a while.

A Brothers Love

A brothers love can be a very weird thing. My 2 boys are really mean to each other at times then there are times like the ones in the pictures. They are very quick to get mad at each other and very quick to apologize to each other. They are best friends but yet they are worst enemies. They are definitely a joy and a pain all in one.

At The Fair

This is my son having fun at the fair, he absolutely loved riding the rides as long as mommy was in sight. If he lost sight of me he would start freaking out and looking for his mother. He had fun all in all, this was the first fair year he was able to ride the rides. His younger brother was able to get on a few as well however he didnt enjoy them near as much.

Sick and Tired Of Being Sick And Tired

For the last 3 months off and on I have been sick with Bronchitis. This week its taking a turn for the worst as the last 2 mornings I have woken with a burning sensation in my chest. I cant breath properly and when I over exert myself I start coughing uncontrollably. When I talk I sometimes start coughing and it hurts like nothing I have ever felt before. At night I cannot sleep properly for tossing and turning as well as coughing fits that wake me up. I went to the hospital now 3 weeks ago and they wouldn't treat me for it saying it was allergies but no allergies I have ever had had this effect on me. I am getting tired very easily these days and my body tries to shut down on me. I had a Urinary tract infection on top of and they gave me medication for that but it didnt work. I took cranberry juice and the infection went away. I am not the only one sick either my 2 children that are with me 24/7 are sick as well with coughing fits that last up to 15 minutes at a time if they over exert themselves.

Diagnosed with PCOS about 4 weeks ago now

I stopped having menses so I went to the doctor to find out why, well what I found out came as a huge shock and an eye opener. It made me realize that I still want children even though I have 3 kids. I have been doing a lot of researching in the past weeks and found out that it is mostly a hormonal thing with hereditary problems. My grandmother has tried to put her 2 cents into what is going on with me and I hate to admit she has made a little sense but I am not going to do what she advises... I don't take advice to well and the thought of going on birth control for 3 or 4 years when I am 31 and still want children kind of made me cry inside. My doctor is perfectly fine with my wanting more children and he has put me on a medication to help me ovulate. Because without ovulation pregnancy is out the window. My grandmother thinks I am on birth control. She still thinks that at this age she can control me. I have no support from my family in this way of thinking outside of my fiance. I am just so tired of being sick and tired. I am also pretty sure the m/c that I had before my middle child was my bodies fault now. After all I have been through with my childhood and growing up, I have this to deal with.

Santa Killer

What a sick and twisted world we live in today that a man would dress up as Santa Claus, shoot an 8 year old little girl in the face when she opened the door and continue on a murderous rampage. That is just what happened on Christmas Eve in California. I hope everyone will join me in praying for the families of the victims. He killed at least 9 people before killing himself at his brothers home. I honestly do not know about the world these days, How can a man shoot an 8 year old little girl in the face and then continue with what he had planned? Well that is something no one will ever understand as the man in question didn't have the guts to stand punishable for his crimes, instead took his own life. If you are Catholic there is this law in the catholic bible that says a person who takes their own life cannot get forgiveness from God but will burn for all eternity in the fires of hell. ( I don't mean anything by this. Outside of making reference to the fact it states so in the bible.)Now I don't know about you but that would be a big deterrent for killing myself, it is not my place to judge, so I will not, I leave that up for my God. I do pray that he be at peace for he was a tortured soul and needed help. The family of the victims will be in my prayers. They woke up that morning thinking they were going to a Christmas party and instead some of them were going to their deaths, most of them going to a horrific event where they watched several of their family members meet a horrific fate.

My 1 year olds Birthday Party

This one is my youngest sons 1st birthday party. I thought you would like to see him enjoying his 1st bday cake. They were both happy, I was happy, the only one who wasnt happy was their father who ended up bbqing and ended up getting to close when someone was putting lighter fluid on the pit. Half his facial hair, half his arm hair, and half his eyebrows were gone.

I made a new scrap kit for you all today. Make sure you read the terms of use if you download it. Its called denim diva and has 20 papers and 43 elements. Not all the papers are used in the preview nor are all the elements. It comes in 2 sizes, fullsized which is 12x 12 papers 300 dpi, tagger sized which is 600 x 600 papers 72 dpi. I hope you all enjoy.

This tutorial is from my thoughts, any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidence.
This tutorial is made with Paint Shop Pro version 9.
It is for Beginners to Intermediate level.

Materials:
Paint Shop Pro
Paradox Scrap Kit by Eklectik Kolord Dreams It's A PTU kit.
My fabric paper's (supplied in materials)
A mask (supplied in materials)
2 Tubes of choice or use mine(supplied in materials)
A word art of choice or use mine(supplied in materials)
Materials

Preparations for the tutorial:
Put the mask into you mask folder.
Open your tubes, two papers from a the scrap kit,
open one of the fabric papers included in the materials,
A frame or a slide,
And open the two flowers. Minimize everything.

Step One

Open a new image 800 x 800, minimize the image, maximize one of the papers from the kit.
Edit/Copy, close out of this paper.
Edit/Paste/Paste as a new layer.
Image/Resize with these settings:

Layers/load save mask with these settings:

Layers/Merge/Merge Group.
Effects/ 3d Effects/Drop Shadow with these settings 2 times:

Step Two:

Minimize your image you are working on, maximize your second paper from the kit.
Edit/Copy, close out of this paper.
Maximize your image you are working on Edit/paste/Paste as a new layer.
Image/Resize with the following settings:

Image/Resize again with these settings:

Step Three

Minimize your image that you are working on,
Maximize your fabric paper you chose.
Edit/Copy, close out of this paper.
Maximize your image that you are working on,
Edit/Paste/Paste as new layer.
Image/Resize with these settings:

Step Four

Minimize your image that you are working on,
Maximize your frame/slide tube.
Edit/Copy, close out of this tube.
Maximize your image you are working on,
Edit/Paste/Paste as a new layer.
Image/Resize with the following settings 2 times:

Move with the mover tool to the upper left corner of your paper layers.

Step Five

Minimize your image you are working on,
Maximize one of your tubes( I chose the male one).
Edit/Copy, Close out of this tube.
Maximize your image, Edit/Paste/Paste as new layer.
Layers/Arrange/Move down.
With your mover tool, move this tube underneath the frame/slide.
In your layer palette select your frame/slide layer.
With the magic wand click the inside of the frame/slide.
Selections/Modify/Expand with these settings:

Now select your tube layer in the layer palette.
Selections/Invert.
Hit the delete key on your keyboard 1 time.

Step Six

Minimize your image you are working on,
Maximize your other tube.
Edit/Copy, close out of this tube.
Maximize your image.
Edit/Paste/Paste as a new layer.
(if you need to resize your tube you may do so now).
With your mover tool move your tube into
The lower right hand corner (Look at my finished image for placement)

Step Seven

Minimize your image you are working on, maximize your word art.
Edit/Copy, close out of this tube.
Maximize your image.
Edit/Paste/Paste as a new layer.
If you feel the need to resize your word art you may do so now.
Mine was a little small for me, so I used the deformation tool.

Step Eight

Minimize your image you are working on, maximize one of your flower tubes.
Edit/Copy, close out of this tube.
Maximize your image.
Edit/Paste/Paste as new layer
Image/Resize 2 times with the following settings:

With your mover tool move this into the left hand corner
(take a look at my graphic for position)

Step Nine

Repeat step eight with your other flower tube.

Step Ten

Add any copyright information.
Layers/Merge/Merge all Flatten
Image/Resize with the following settings:

Save as JPG.

A kit I am using the lovely kit Periwinkle Promises by Eklektik Kolored Dreams it’s a PTU kit

A tube of choice I am using the lovely work of Aurore Black Cat

A font of choice I am using Honest John’s.

Step One
Open your tube, 3 papers, a doily, (if you are using this kit you only need to open one frame.)2 frames if not, and 3 flowers and minimize them all. Open a new image 600x600 px.

Minimize this image.

Maximize your first paper Edit/Copy and close out of the paper, now go back to your new image Edit/Paste.

Image/resize with these settings:

80 Percent by 80 Percent

Resize again with the same settings. Image/Rotate/Free Rotate with these settings:

Right, Free 45, Rotate single Layer around canvas center

Effects/3d Effects/Drop Shadow with these settings:

0,0,100,7.00,Black

Now we merge the layers, Layers/Merge/Merge Down.

Step Two
Minimize your image and maximize your second paper, Edit/Copy. Close out of this paper. Maximize your image, Edit/Paste/Paste as a new layer. Image/Resize with these settings:

80 Percent by 80 Percent

Repeat this one more time with the same settings. Image/rotate/free rotate with the following settings:

Add a drop shadow by going to Effects/3d Effects/Drop Shadow with the following settings:

0,0,100,7.00,Black

Now we merge the layers, Layers/Merge/Merge Down.

Step Three
Minimize your image go to your last paper, Edit/ Copy. Close out of this paper, go to your image, edit/ paste/paste as a new layer. Image/Resize with these settings:

80 Percent by 80 Percent

Apply your drop shadow by going to Effects/3d Effects/Drop Shadow with the following settings:

0,0,100,7.00,Black

Now we merge the layers, Layers/Merge/Merge Down.

Your image should now look like this:

Step Four
Minimize your image, maximize your doily tube, Edit/Copy. Close out of this tube. Go back to your image Edit/paste/paste as a new layer. Image/Resize with these settings:

Then you need to send the layer to the bottom Layers/Arrange/Send to bottom. Apply your drop shadow by going to Effects/3d Effects/Drop Shadow with the following settings:

1,1,100,3,Black

Now we merge the layers, Layers/Merge/Merge Down.

Your image should now look like this:

Step Five
Minimize your image, Maximize your frame, Edit/Copy. Close out of your frame. Maximize your image, Edit/Paste/Paste as a new layer. Resize your image by going to Image/Resize with these settings:

Now move this up into your right corner using the mover tool. (If you are using a different kit please copy and paste your other frame, resize with the same settings, and move it right beside the other one If using two frames please Layer/Merge/Merge down.)

Step Six
Minimize your image, maximize your tube, Edit/Copy. Close out of this tube. Maximize your image edit/paste/paste as new layer. Image/Resize with these settings:

Now mirror your tube layer by going to Image/Mirror.

Move your layer down by going to Layers/Arrange/Move Down.

Now move up to your frame layer click the inside of the frame with the magic wand tool just one side of the frame. Now Selections/modify/Expand with these settings:

3 pixels

Now go to Selections/Invert.

Now select your tube layer hit the delete key one time on your keyboard. Now go to Selections/Select None.

It should now look like this:

We now select our frame layer.

Now we Edit/Paste/Paste as new layer again.

Now we go to Layers/Arrange/Move down.

Move your tube around underneath the frame with your mover tool, till it looks good to you.

Click your frame layer, with your magic wand select the inside of your frame and Selections/Modify/Expand with the following settings:

3 Pixels

Now we go to Selections/Invert.

Now click your tube layer, hit the delete key on your keyboard one time.

Your image should now look similar to this:

We now select our frame layer.

Now we Edit/Paste/Paste as new layer again.

Now with your mover tool move your last tube layer down into the lower left corner.

Step Seven
Minimize your image that you are working on. Maximize one of your flowers, edit/copy. Close out of the flower you just copied. Maximize your image, Edit/Paste/Paste as a new layer. Image/Resize three times with these settings:
Move it with your mover tool down to the right hand side of your image on top of the last paper you put down. Minimize your image, maximize another flower tube, Edit/copy. Close out of this tube. Maximize your image edit/paste/paste as a new layer. Image/Resize three times with these settings:
With your mover tool move your second flower down into the lower right hand corner above your other flower. Maximize your last flower tube, Edit/copy. Close out of this tube. Maximize your image edit/paste/paste as a new layer. Image/Resize three times with these settings:

With your mover tool move your last flower down into the lower right hand corner above your other flowers.

Step Eight
Click the text tool choose your font and your font size, add what you would like it to say.

Add your watermark or any applicable copyright to the image.

Layers/Merge/Merge All Flatten.

These are my boys, I know I don't show them off to often however I felt it was the appropriate time to show them off. I love them both with all my heart I personally did not write that poem the artist is unknown, However I felt and still feel this way every single morning when I look at my lovely boys. I have felt this way ever since the days they were both born and count myself lucky every single day of my life that they choose myself and their father to be their parents. Baby's are not chosen, they choose you. The layout that I am using in this post will be made into a quick page for other people to use.

Materials:
Paint Shop Pro
My newest scrap-kit Girls Rock Tagger Sized
A tube of your choice
My supplies include a tube, and the two masks
Supplies

Step One

Open your tube, two papers, a frame, one of the be-ribboned buckles, put the masks into your masks folder of psp, a bow, and a beaded word art I have put 2 in the kit one has words on it the other doesn’t.
Open a new image 600 x 600.
Maximize one of your papers, edit/copy, go to your new image edit/paste as new layer. Close out of your paper.
Layers/load\save mask find the mask dsbk_funkyflower and use these settings:
Fit to layer, source luminance, and show all mask

(optional you may add a drop shadow to this layer.)

Layers/merge/Merge group
Image/resize 110 percent 2 times.

Maximize your other paper, edit copy, and go to your new image edit/paste as new layer. Close out of your paper. Layers / load\save mask find the mask dsbk_pinkedcircle and use these settings:
Fit to layer, source luminance, show all mask, and invert transparency checked.

Layers/merge/Merge group
Effects/3d Effects/ Drop shadow with these settings:
0,0,80,10, black

Step Two

Maximize your tube. Edit/ copy, go to your image edit/ paste as new layer. Close out of your tube.
Now if your tube is a little big you might need to resize it if so do it in 80 percent increments.
Maximize your frame tube. Edit/copy, go to your image edit/paste as new layer. Close out of your frame.
Now click the mover tool, and move your tube to a position you like inside the frame.
It should look similar to this:

Now go back to your frame layer click the magic wand tool and select the inside of the frame.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 2.

Selections/Invert.
Now go down to your tube layer and hit the delete key one time.
Your image should now look similar to this:

Click your frame layer Layers/Merge/Merge down.
Selections/Select None
Step Three

Maximize your bow tube. Edit/copy, go back to your image edit/paste as new layer. Close out your bow tube.
Image/resize with these settings:

80 percent, 80 percent.
Click the mover tool. Move your bow to the top of your frame.
Effects/3d Effects/Drop shadow with these settings:
0,0,80,10, black

It should now look similar to this:

Maximize your ribboned buckle. Edit/copy go to your image edit/paste as new layer. Click the mover tool and move your buckle tube across your image into a position that looks good to you.
Maximize your beaded word art. Edit/copy go to your image edit/paste as new layer.
In your layer pallet move this layer below your bow layer.
Resize your beaded word art with these settings:

Two times.
Now click your mover tool. And move it below the bow till it looks good to you.
Image/rotate/free rotate with these settings:

If you choose the beaded word art with words on it skip this step if not continue on.
Click your text tool choose your size and font. Now type what you would like your word art to say.
Image/rotate/free rotate.
Keep the same settings just change the direction from right to left.
In the layer pallet right click on this layer, Convert to raster layer. If it doesn’t fit over your beaded word art you will need to resize it.
Now click the mover tool and move over your beaded word art.
(Optional: You may add drop shadows to the beaded word art and beribboned buckle if you so wish.)

Layers/Merge/Merge down.

Step Four

Add your watermark/copyright information.
Click the text tool add your name or names.
Layers/Merge/Merge All Flatten.
Save as .jpg.

Tube of choice I am using the beautiful work of Popeye Wong
Scrap kit of choice I am using Chic by Bel Vidotti
Font of choice the font I am using is WaterBrushRob, I didn’t include it because it’s a pay font.
Put the masks into your psp masks folder.
If you are not using the beautiful kit by Bel Vidotti, it is suggested you have a lace up tube and frame open.

One
Open 2 papers of choice, 2 flowers of choice, 2 gems of choice, an accent of choice, tube of choice, and a lace up of choice. Open a new image 600 x 600 px. Maximize one of your papers. Copy and paste into your new image. Layers/load save mask with these settings:
Layers/merge/merge group. Close out of your paper.

Two
Maximize your second paper. Copy and paste into your image. Layers/load save masks with these settings:

It should now look similar to this:

Image/resize with the following settings:

Take the eraser tool and delete the line around the outside edge.
It should now look similar to this:

Move into position (check the finished image for positioning). Effects/3d Effects/Drop Shadow with the following settings:

Close out of the paper you used.

Three
Maximize your frame tube. Copy and paste into your image, image/resize 3 times with these settings:

It should now look similar to this:

Image/rotate with these settings:

Move into position (check positioning against the finished graphic above.) Close out of your frame tube.
Duplicate the frame layer 2 times.
Move the frames one at a time into position (look at the finished image to get an idea of how to position them.)
Layers/Merge/Merge down. Layers/Merge/Merge down.

Maximize you tube. Copy and paste into your image. Layers/arrange/move down.
Image/resize with these settings:

Duplicate the tube layer 2 times. Minimize your tube for later use.
Move your tube layers into a position that looks good to you.
In your layer palette click on the frame layer. Click the inside of the first frame, selections/modify/expand by 5. Selections/invert
Click the corresponding tube layer in your layers palette. Hit delete once.
In your layer palette click on the frame layer. Click the inside of the Second frame, selections/modify/expand by 5. Selections/invert
Click the corresponding tube layer in your layers palette. Hit delete once.
In your layer palette click on the frame layer. Click the inside of the third frame, selections/modify/expand by 5. Selections/invert
Click the corresponding tube layer in your layers palette. Hit delete once.
It should look similar to this:

Maximize your lacing tube. Copy and paste into your image. Close out the lacing tube. Image/resize with these settings 2 times:

Then image/resize with these settings one time:

Image/rotate with these settings:

Position over frame layer 1.
Duplicate this lacing layer 1 time and move over the other frame.
(See positioning from finished image.)
It should look similar to this:

Six
Maximize one of your gem tubes, copy and paste into your image. Close the gem tube out
Image/resize with these settings 2 times:

Move into position over lacing and frame.
(See the finished image for positioning.)
Maximize your other gem tube. Copy and paste into your image.
Resize with above settings 2 times.
Move into position over lacing and frame.
(See the finished image for positioning.)

Seven
Maximize your accent tube. Copy and paste into your image. Close out the accent tube.
Image/resize with these settings 2 times:

Move into position. (see finished image for positioning.)
Raster deformation tool, give it a slight slant if you would like.
It should look similar to this:

Eight
Maximize your tube, copy and paste into your image.
Resize with the 80 percent settings 2 or 3 times depending on the size of your tube. Position (see the finished image for positioning).
Maximize one of your flower tubes. Copy and paste into your image.
Image/resize with the 50 percent settings 2 times.
Move into position (see the finished image for positioning).
Close out of the flower you used.
Open your other flower tube, copy and paste into your image. Close out of the flower tube you used.
Move into position (see the finished image for positioning).

Nine
Click the text tool pick the font you wish to use. Size 72 or smaller depending on what you wish to type. Type what you wish.
Add a slight angle to the text if you wish.
Effects/3d Effects/Drop Shadow with these settings:

Add your copyright information.
Layers/Merge/Merge All Flatten.
Save as JPG.

Come On Baby Scrap Tag Tutorial

Two tubes I am using the beautiful artwork of ©Adam Byrne.
Scrap kit of choice I am using the kit Acqua by Bel Vidotti
Mask Becky_mask001.jpg included in supplies
Mask image 0011 included in supplies
Font of choice I am using LainieDaySH
Supplies
Paint Shop Pro

One
Put the masks in your mask folder in Paint shop pro.
Open two tubes you wish to use minimize them for now. Open three papers, 3 flowers, a vine, a lace up, and two frames you wish to use and minimize them all. Open a new image 600 x 600 pixel 72.000 resolution.
Two
Copy one of the three papers and paste into your image. Use Becky_mask001.jpg with the following settings.

Merge Group.

Three
Copy another paper, and paste it into your image. Use mask image0011 with these settings.

Merge group. Resize with these settings.

Resize again with these settings.

Move to the upper corner as shown in the image below.

Four
Open one of the frames copy and paste into your image. Resize by 80 percent x 2 (you may have to tweak it too look like the below image) percent. Open the other frame copy and paste resize by 80 percent x2. It should look like this.

Five
Open up the laces tube that you have chosen. Resize it down to about right to fit over the frames. If you need to use the raster deform. It should look like this.

Six
Click in your menu Layers/Merge down the frames and lace ups. Maximize paper three, open your image add layers/new raster layer with the inside of the frames selected, selections/modify/selection/expand by 7 paste into selection, selection/select none. Move this raster layer below the frames layer. Close out of the paper you opened. It should look like this now.

Seven
Open the flowers copy them and then paste into your image. Resize the flower by 35 percent and move it to the top of the circle. Copy the second flower and then paste into your image. Resize flower by 35 percent and move on top of the other flower. Copy the third flower and then paste into your image. Resize the flower by 35 percent and move on top of the other flowers. It should now look like this.

Eight
Open one of the tubes you have chosen, copy then paste into your image move it below your frame layer. Resize (I used 80 percent 2x) till the head of the girl is in the frame. Select the frame layer click the wand and click inside both sides of the frame, selctions modify and expand by 3. Select your tube layer and invert selection hit delete. It should now look like this.

Nine
Open your other tube. Copy then paste into your image, resize the same way as in Step 8, Select the frame layer, select the inside of the other frame, selections modify expand by 3, invert. Select the tube layer hit delete. It should look like this.

Maximize the vine, copy and paste into your image. Resize the vine to fit over your frame (if you want you may leave off the vine.)It should look like this if you used the vine.
Put your copyright information if you have it. Flatten image. Click the eyedropper and pick a light and dark color from you scrap kit. Click the text tool and pick your font that you want to use (again I used LainieDaySH). Add your text. Save image as .Jpg.

Step One

Open a new image 600 x 850 px 300 resolution. Load pinwheel1 selection flood fill with color or patter of your choice.
Inner Bevel

Step Two

Add new raster layer. Load pinwheel2 selection, flood fill with your choice. Use inner bevel from step one. By now you will notice that my selections are not together. You get to assemble it yourself lol.

Step Three

Add new raster layer. Load pinwheel3 selection, flood fill with your choice. Use inner bevel from step one.

Step Four

Add new raster layer. Load pinwheel4 selection, flood fill with your choice. Use inner bevel from step one.

Step Five

Add new raster layer. Load pinwheel5 selection, flood fill with your choice. Use inner bevel from step one.

Step Six

Add new raster layer. Load pinwheel6 selection, flood fill with your choice. Use inner bevel from step one.

Step Seven

Add new raster layer. Load pinwheel7 selection, flood fill with your choice. Use inner bevel from step one.

Step Eight

Add new raster layer. Load pinwheel8 selection, flood fill with your choice. Use inner bevel from step one.

Step Nine

Move each piece of the pinwheel until it looks how you want it to look.

Step Ten

Add new raster layer. Load pinwheel9 decorate as you wish, I used Eye Candy impact bevel. And move into the center of your pinwheel top.

Step Eleven

Add new raster layer. Load pinwheel10 apply Eye candy impact bevel. You can get the bevel on another blog. Move it into place and merge visable.

New Layout Using A WIP

These are my baby boys, I love them more than anything. They are very spoiled, and mischievous, however they are most generally good boys. My older boy is a handful who plans his mischief, you can literally see the wheels turning in his head. He thinks through everything even though he knows it will get him into trouble he does it anyways lol. I think its cute when I look back at it but at the time it makes me so upset because I know he knows better. My younger boy is spoiled rotten but a quiet loving baby, the only time he really cries is when he wants a bottle or a diaper change, although he is getting a little more vocal about being held.
